QR code generator

Create a QR code for a link, a Wi-Fi network (guests join without typing the password), a contact card (vCard), a pre-filled e-mail or plain text. Choose the colours, the quiet zone and the error-correction level, and download it as a PNG of any size or as an SVG for print.

The codes are static: the content is stored in the code itself, not behind a redirect. They never expire and nobody tracks who scans them.

How to use it

  1. Choose the type: Link, Wi-Fi, Contact, E-mail or Text.
  2. Fill in the fields and adjust the style if you like.
  3. Download the code as PNG or SVG.

Questions

Do the QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes with the content inside, so they work as long as the content (e.g. the link) does.

Are scans tracked?

No. There is no redirect service in between; scanning goes straight to your content.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for screens and documents; SVG for print, because it scales to any size without blurring.

Are my files uploaded?

No. QR code generator runs in your browser on your own device, so your files never leave it. It is free, with no account, no limits and no watermark, and the code is open source (AGPL-3.0).
