Add a watermark to a PDF

Mark a document as a copy, a draft or confidential before you send it. Type any text or pick a ready one (COPY, DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, PAID, KOPIA, ORYGINAŁ), then choose the font, size, colour and opacity.

Place it once in the centre or tile it across the whole page, diagonally or horizontally. The watermark is added to every page.

How to use it

  1. Drop a PDF.
  2. Enter the watermark text and set its look and layout.
  3. Click "Add watermark" and download the result.

Questions

Can I use my own text?

Yes. Type anything, including Polish characters, and choose from 21 fonts.

Can the watermark be removed later?

It is drawn into the page content, so it cannot simply be switched off in a reader. Someone with a PDF editor could still cover or remove it, as with any watermark.

Is the watermark on every page?

Yes, on every page of the document, in the same position.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Watermark PDF runs in your browser on your own device, so your files never leave it. It is free, with no account, no limits and no watermark, and the code is open source (AGPL-3.0).
