Nyxiontech PDF Tools › Split PDF

Split a PDF or extract pages

Three ways to split: every page as its own PDF; by ranges, where each range such as "1-3, 4-6, 7-" becomes a separate file; or extract chosen pages such as "1, 3-5, 9" into one new PDF.

The pages are copied unchanged, so text stays selectable. When there are several results, download them one by one or all together as a .zip.

How to use it

  1. Drop a PDF.
  2. Choose "Every page", "By ranges" or "Extract pages" and enter the pages.
  3. Click "Split PDF" and download the files or the zip.

Questions

How do I write page ranges?

Separate them with commas: "1-3, 4-6" makes two files. An open range like "7-" runs to the last page.

How do I take a few pages out of a PDF?

Choose "Extract pages" and list them, e.g. "2, 5-7". They go into one new PDF; the original file is not changed.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. The pages are copied as they are.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Split PDF runs in your browser on your own device, so your files never leave it. It is free, with no account, no limits and no watermark, and the code is open source (AGPL-3.0).
